Product Details

Molecular sieves are a type of silicate compound with a cubic crystal lattice. They have a uniform microporous structure, with pore diameters that are consistent. These pores can adsorb molecules smaller than their diameter and have a preferential adsorption capacity for polar and unsaturated molecules, allowing them to separate molecules with different polarities, saturation levels, sizes, and boiling points, thus serving the function of 'sieving' molecules, hence the name molecular sieve. Due to their high adsorption capacity and strong thermal stability, which are advantages not found in other adsorbents, molecular sieves have gained widespread applications.
