Sintered metal powder filter elements use metal powder as raw material, without the need for added binders. After forming through cold isostatic pressing, they are made through high-temperature vacuum sintering. By selecting the particle size of the metal powder and process parameters, the pore size and distribution of the element can be adjusted. The final filtering product suitable for user needs is developed by utilizing the characteristics of different filtering materials' pore structures, material compositions, and pressure resistance strengths.

Sintered metal powder filter elements can achieve micron-level precision filtration, capable of separating solid particle impurities from liquids and gases. When the fluid passes through a filter element of certain precision, impurities are blocked on the surface of the filter element, forming a filter cake, and the purified fluid flows out through the filter element, making the contaminated or impure fluid clean to the state required for normal production, ensuring that downstream devices obtain pure products or protect the normal operation of equipment.

Unlike non-metallic sintered filter elements, when the filter cake on the surface of the sintered metal powder filter element reaches a certain thickness, due to its high strength characteristics, it can be cleaned by backwashing or backblowing the filter element with a certain reverse pressure, allowing the filter element to be reused.
